So thankful for our safe arrival! Travel really could not have gone smoother. All flights were on time and all luggage arrived with us . We left Fayetteville just a few minutes after 2 this morning. Thanks to Brian Hunt for delivering us safely to the Nashville airport!
After a quick layover in Miami, we arrived in Tegucigalpa around Noon local time.
We made a quick stop by the Hotel to unload luggage and then ate some good 'ole American fast food at the local Wendy's. After lunch, it was on to the Ambassadors for Christ clinic to put together food bags. We were greeted my Mr. Greg Beeson from the Smyrna church of Christ. Greg took a few minutes to explain a little about the work that goes on at the clinic.
Our group made quick work of the food bags. We put together 307 bags of food that should each provide for a family for about a week.
Also included were these notes saying that the food bags were given by the church of Christ in the Valley of the Angels, Carlos Toledo preacher. 2nd Corinthians 5:20 is also included.
Tomorrow we will begin our first construction project as well as host our first medical / dental clinic.
