Day 5 - 2017

Deuteronomy 15:10-11 You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake. For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land. 

Today was an extremely long, busy day. Once again, the medical team had people waiting for them when they arrived to set up for the medical clinic. This clinic was at the church building in Cantarranas. 

The construction team was able to build an entire house in one day. In this location, we were able to build on an existing concrete pad, so that saved us quite a bit of time. 

And my favorite part of the day was being able to pray with the homeowner in her new house. After the prayer, she seemed a bit overwhelmed that a group of total strangers, far from home, had blessed her with such a gift. One look at her face would tell you what a worthy mission this is.
