Day 6 - 2017

Mark 12:30-31  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. The is no commandment greater than these. 

Today was a light day for both our medical and our construction teams. The medical clinic was at Carlos' sons' school in Tegucigalpa. 

The construction team's only task was to finish up the second house. Much to our surprise, the homeowners had wired it themselves after we left yesterday. So all we had to do was to add a few pieces of trim around the windows and door. 

The rest of the day was spent sightseeing at the Picatcho (statue of Jesus overlooking the city) and eating a wonderful group meal with our Honduran brothers and sisters. 

It's hard to believe that our time here is about to end. This week is something that many of us look forward to all year long. It was truly a life changing experience for me when I came for my first time in 2010. We would love for you to join us next year!
